Obviously every troop cannot win a team award through perhaps, lack of Scouts or canoes. Why not enter even one, two or three Scouts? To win a medal or certificate is a big thrill and an honour for your group, no one is particularly expert!
EVENTS
1 - Scouts aged 101/2 to 11 2 - Scouts aged 12 3 - Scouts aged 13 4 - Explorer Scouts aged 14 5 - Explorer Scouts aged 15 6 - Explorer Scouts aged 16 to 18 7 - Obstacle race - One Scout aged 11 or 12 8 - Obstacle race - One Scout aged under 151/2 9 - Relay race - Three in a team One Scout aged 101/2 to 11 One Scout aged 12 to 13 One Scout any age but must be under 151/2
NOTE: There are no races for racing canoes. The organiser's decision is final.
The White Ensign will be presented to the Troop gaining the most points in the regatta. 3 for a win, 2 for second and 1 for third. Medals & prizes for individual winners and certificates for second and third in each event.
ENTRANCE FEE - £2.00 per person, per event. Payable on the day, before 13:30 to Camp Centre.
AGE LIMITS - In the event of a correct age Scout being unavailable, a younger Scout may be entered.
The presentations for the regatta will take place in Camp Centre on SATURDAY NIGHT before the entertainment.
